Description: |
The jaws of the tongs have dove-tail slots to hold inserts which enable them to be used as a pipe cutter, pipe wrench, or thread chase. The pivot point is adjustable to adapt them to various sizes of pipe. The specifications differentiate the interchangeable inserts from those patented by William Webster (Pat No. 41,554, Feb. 9, 1864). |
