Description: |
The steel screw driver bit is embedded in the malleable cast iron which forms the remainder of the tool. One side is formed as a series of square sockets; the other side is a tapered slot which serves as a wrench for any non-standard sizes. This patent may have been produced; Gold's improvement on this patent (pat. no. 188,243, granted March 13,1877) was widely used. |
