| The patent is a reinforced hole through the Coes "knife handle" to allow secure attachment of a loop or wire. The reinforcement for the hole includes surface "ears" extending from the metal tip on the end of the handle, and an optional hollow rivet. A known example has the reinforced hole towards the end of the handle, as shown in one of the full-length example in the drawings. |
