| The patented feature of this adjustable pliers-wrench is a moveable pivot pin held in place with a spring. (figs. 5, 7, 8, 9). The wrench also is stamped with patent no. 2,325,245. The actual construction of the tool differs somewhat from the patent drawings -- see the parts list illustrations extracted from an insert in a "new old stock in original box" example.
Click Mfg. was so obscure they did not have a telephone number in Fairbury, Nebraska. The company's trademark application in 1950 claimed use starting in April, 1948. |
