Description: |
This jaw segment roughly corresponds to the adjustable jaw member of the Dudly combination nut and pipe wrench. The double-headed main shank of the wrench is covered by a second design patent issued Dec. 10, 1901. D35,421 In the wrench as produced, the toothed gripping face is on the "fixed" jaw, and the jaw faces on the adjustable jaw are smooth. A 1905 catalog listing shows three sizes of the DUDLY AUTO WRENCH. A. DUDLY Mfg. Co. was "reorganized" as the DUDLY TOOL Co. in 1905, with Dudly as one of the officers. |
