Description: |
The wrench has teeth on the end of the handle stock, and a spring loaded hook jaw mounted on the adjustable portion. The overall leverage of the wrench increases as the jaws are opened. The specifications cite this as an improvement on Bartholomew & Merrick's 1849 patent 6,002 (shown as Fig. 1 in the drawings), where the leverage decreases as the jaw opening increases.
