Description: |
Hobbs uses a perfect style handle arrangement by competitor H. D. Smith 737,179 and D37,214 but attaches the screwdriver blade into the handle using a dovetail recess instead of one piece handle and shank construction. During the manufacturing process, the tool shank is flattened and expanded in the dovetail recess to lock the tool together.
Known example is marked with the patent date and KNIFE/HERCULES/HANDLE. |
