Description: |
The focus of the patent is the brace pad that can insert in the adjustable jaw when the tool is assembled as a ratchet brace. Major features of the tool resemble the 20TH CENTURY brace wrench (pat. no. 674,735). All the features of the tool are described.
At the time, eastern Oklahoma was known as "Indian Territory".
A collector that shared a photo of the tool did not mention what markings (if any) are present. On that example, the adjustable wrench jaw has a "nut on the threaded main shank" rather than the Coes type adjusting screw shown in the patent drawings. |
