Description: |
This is the second reissue of Solyman Merrick's Aug. 17, 1835 patent 9030x. This first U.S. screw adjust nut wrench patent had the adjusting nut attached to the adjustable jaw by a strap. This basic wrench design (with a modified connection between the adjusting nut and movable jaw) continued to be used in wrenches made by B&C until shortly before WWII. The reissue dates on the drawing and specifications are not the same. |
