Description:

Martin Donnelly had a pair of similar die stocks in one of his auctions. Martin's comments:

Two mechanically complex die stocks marked with 1933 and 1934 patent dates. Both were undoubtedly produced by the same inventor and differ in form--a likely result of the observation of the shortcomings of the 1933 version

I'm assuming the years should have been 1934 and 1935 and that the other patent is 1,988,046.
