Description: |
"This invention relates to a wood turning lathe by means of which a large quantity production may be obtained of duplicate pieces. It is a primary object and purpose of the present invention to make a machine of this character wherein pieces of wood stock square in cross section may be successively brought to suitable cutters and cut to the desired form very rapidly, a single operator of the machine only being required to place the stock in place to be engaged by the machine and thereafter brought to the cutters, the operator removing the finished work and also manually operating the holder of the unfinished stock toward the cutters, the organization of the machine being such that one operator can readily perform these operations without loss of time..." |
