        Description: |
| An internal "nut" with interior threads and exterior "interrupted threads" is at the heart of this quick / screw adjustment means. The original German patents were DE-336,765 for the wrench, and DE-340,796 for the vise. The wrench was produced as the "RAPID" together with Schäfer's DE-340,985 as the "VELOX."
Both were advertised together in 1921 / 1922.
Note: Some machine translations will transliterate Schäfer into Schaefer. |
