Early distribution by GASCO (General Auto Supply Co.); manufacture by K-D Mfg. Co. Bridgeport Hardware Mfg. licensed the patent for use in conjunction with W. F. Hobbs' patent no. 1,614,300.
Patent no. 1,461,275 adds an automatic ratchet lock to the tool, to hold a spring in compressed position.
This patent and 1,879,330 were found to have been infringed by the Waterloo Valve Spring Compressor Co. in K-D Mfg. Co. v. Waterloo Valve Spring Compressor Co. [13 F.Supp. 811 (1936)]. |
