Vintage Machinery entry for Wilton Corp.
Description:
This hydraulic clamp was sold as Wilton's "PowRslide" bridge clamp, used to hold down work-pieces for machining operations. Multiple PowRslide clamps can be controlled by a single air or hydraulic actuator. When pressure is released the clamping arm can be slid back out of the way to allow for easy changing of work-pieces.

English manufacture Spencer-Franklin Ltd. licensed this design which it manufactured as their "PowRlock" clamp. Nearly 60 years later, Spencer-Franklin still manufactures them.
