Description:
"This invention relates to wrenches of the type referred to in our prior Patent No 629,209 and having a pair of opposed jaws of which one is rigidly connected with the shank or handle of the wrench whilst the other jaw is substantially hook-shaped and pivotably connected with the handle in such a manner that the jaws are squeezed against an object engaged between them when the handle is actuated to turn such object." The named individuals were acting as representatives of the CROMNA Company in Denmark.

Improvement to GB-629,209, DK-69670, etc. Reflects the actual CROMNA wrench production in several European countries.

Ron Geesin's entry for CROMNA in THE ADJUSTABLE SPANNER (vol. 1, pg. 79) has a succinct history of the patents and tool production. 2,570,991 is equivalent U.S. patent.
