"This invention relates to improvements in wrenches of the type described in .. Patent 1,362,687, ... and has for its primary object to provide an improved simplified wrench construction wherein the number of parts is reduced to the minimum, the expense of manufacture is materially lessened and the operation as to adjustment of the jaws may be more quickly and easily effected.
'An object of the invention is to provide in a wrench of the character described an improved jaw adjusting locking mechanism which consists of but few and simply constructed parts or elements capable of being readily assembled or disassembled and which may be readily and easily operated to provide for adjustment and locking of the jaws." |
