| British patent corresponding to U.S. Patent 942,043. The specifications and claims also incorporate aspects of U.S. patent 936,574. The effective date is back-dated to correspond to the application date for 942,043.
It is not known whether these compound lever shears were produced in Great Britain. In the U.S. they were first produced by the Detroit Shear Co., and after Jan. 1, 1913 by Bartlett Mfg. Co., Detroit.
