|
Description: |
No patent drawing. This patent describes a method of using a kneadable epoxy binder plus abrasives and metallic filler to construct a grinding wheel. Moore Special Tool Co. licensed this patent from Toolmasters Ltd., so that their customers could make form grinding wheels by making and shaping an aluminum disk and then covering the disk surface using the Toolmasters epoxy and process. Moore Special Tool Co. sold General Electric's Borazon (cubic boron nitride) and diamond as the abrasives in this system. For more information, see the 1973 Moore catalog, "Accessories for precision jig boring and jig grinding", page E24 (see link). |
