Claim:
A collapsible tap comprising a body mhember having radial slots in one end thereof and a cylindrical chamber in the opposite end thereof, chasers slidably secured in said slots, longitudinally movable means with said body member engaging the inner ends of said chasers adapted to shift the same, the diameter of said chasers being greater than the diameter of said body inem-her, rotating means mounted on said longitudinally movable means adapted to impart longitudinal movement thereto, at shank, a hub thereon slidably mounted within the cylindrical chamber in said body member. means to prevent rotary movement of said hub within said body member, and means to yieldingly press said hub inwardly in said body member. |
