Claim:
In a gas-engine, the combination with an engine-cylinder having an inlet-passage and a suction-passage communicating therewith, io a governor attachment connected with said inlet-passage, said attachment having a mix-ing-chamber therein, an inlet-valve mounted within said mixing-chamber, air and gas pipes communicating with said mixing-chamber to and adapted to be more or less cut off by said valve, a suction-cylinder carried by said attachment and connected with said suction-passage, a piston mounted in said cylinder carrying a piston-stein, means for connecting 11 said stem with said inlet-valve, a governor-controlled valve in said suction-passage for regulating the sucking action of the engine-piston upon the suction-piston, whereby said suction-piston will be operated in one direction to more or less rotate said inlet-valve, and means to return said suction-piston to normal position, thereby rotating said inlet-valve to its normal position, all substantially as shown and described. |
