Description: |
The inventor manufactured miter boxes and this patent appears to be somewhat of an anomaly for him. However, this patent and Francis Curtis's patent 120,044 were called out in "Methods of Machine Shop Work", by Frederick A. Halsey, 1914, page 173, as notable predecessors to Christopher Spencer's patent 275,431, which is seen as advancing the development of the turret lathe to "practical usefulness". |
