This "tumble block" has angles on it to enable the grinding of thread-cutting lathe tools. Also available were accessory blocks to adjust for the tilt angle of Armstrong-style tool holders. One example we have seen was in the original box, labeled as "Clark / Thread Tool Grinding Fixture / Model 'A' / Robert H. Clark Company / Los Angeles, Cal." The logo consists of two script C's. |
