Description: |
British patent for quick adjusting wrench formed of stamped sheet metal parts and corresponding to Canadian patent CA-114,361. The version shown in Fig. 1 with the clip-on auxiliary pipe jaw in Fig. 5 was produced in the U.S. as the POLLOCK AUTOMATIC Wrench. The design was described as being operable one-handed. Photos shared by Pollock's great-grandson show Pollock had lost his left arm.
To date no corresponding U.S. patent has been identified; the company organized to produce the wrench incorporated in 1905. |
