Description: |
Combination nut and pipe wrench, pipe cutter, wire cutter and nipper. A cam end on the handle provides the pressure to move the jaws. The faces of the nippers serve as stops to prevent the pipe cutter discs from cutting into each other.
The DuCharme Wrench & Novelty Co. was formed at Johnstown, PA to produce DuCharme's designs. "New product announcements" for the designs appeared in trade journals in late 1910. This design (without the pipe cutters) was called the "Self Adjusting Wrench." A reorganized DuCharme company moved to Cambridge, OH at the end of 1910. |
