Description: |
Pins on a knurled disc fit in slots in the cutters. The cutters slide in slots in a base. Turning the knurled disc adjusts the cutters "in" or "out." A threaded locking sleeve holds the adjustment The lower part of the tool is sized to fit in the valve guide which serves to keep the tool centered in the valve opening.
Marketed in conjunction with a valve facing tool based on patent no. 1,198,697 -- see also pat. no. 1,237,165. Advertised in 1915 as the AMERICAN VALVE RESEATERS. |
