Description: |
The patent corresponds to Canadian patent CA-3,357 for a technique of casting hammer heads around harder wrought inserts for the head and nail claw. U.S. patent 151,907 describes the process only in terms of the nail claw.

Note: Early English patents (pre 1916) were numbered by the year and started at patent #1 at the start of each year in January. The patent # used in DATAMP represents the year of registration and the patent # (with "leading zeros" interposed to make the number total nine digits). This patent is #61 of the year 1875. |
