Description: |
| Combination screw and quick adjust nut wrench with spring tensioned washers that engage threads cut on the wrench's main shank mounted within an adjusting sleeve. The gripping washers have external "tabs" to allow them to be pushed out of engagement with the threaded shank, providing quick adjustment of the movable jaw.
Wrenches marked with this patent date have a modified screw and quick adjusting sleeve corresponding to aspects of Kahle's subsequent patent (no. 999,034). |
