Description:

This is a combination gage with lots of different features, but the design appears to actually be quite usable (unlike many other combination gages). The basic premise here is a telescoping bar, with marking points mounted on collars. This in and of itself is a pretty novel idea, but where this design really shines is in the details.

The head of the bar is hollow, which gives a nice place to store the extra marking collars when they are not needed. The block on the end of the arm has a trammel point (with pencil holder) and marking point (for use as a panel gage) on adjacent faces, to allow each to be used without interfering with the other. The trammel point in the head is likewise retractable, so it will not interfere with use as a marking gage.
