Description: |
The specifications describe the open end wrenches on the handle end and the ratchet head which can be locked to the handle. A non-ratcheting socket and open end vehicle wrench resembling this design was produced as MILLER'S VEHICLE WRENCH, with January 27, 1891 and December 20, 1890 patent dates corresponding to U.S. patent no. 445,451 and its Canadian equivalent.
The ratchet mechanism appears to relate to the ratchet used in MILLER'S REDUCING WRENCH, introduced in early 1891. |
