Description:
The wrench is essentially a tube, with one end shaped to form "alligator" jaws and the other end with three or four "flared" jaws. The tool is intended to grasp the knurled caps of grease cups.

Stepanian's grease cup wrench was a single gripping flare socket with a "T" handle and slotted sides, corresponding to his earlier patent (no. 1,321,776).
