Description: |
The center section of the movable jaw is a depressible locking sleeve with interior rack teeth that engage with rack teeth on the shank. A pair of compression springs within the movable jaw hold the sleeve against the shank. The arrangement allows for one-handed operation of the wrench.
Canadian patent CA-43,880 (August 10, 1893) is parallel for the same design. |
