There are no patent specification or drawings available.Classified ad in the 1835-04-25 The Genesee Farmer & Gardener's Journal, Vol. V No. 17, page 135. "Wanted. A person well qualified to take charge of one of Andrew's Patent Shingle Mills. A person that can bring satisfactory testimonials of character and capability will meet with a good situation, constant employment, and cash down. None need apply but those that are well acquainted with the management of circular saws. For further particulars inquire (if by letter, post paid,) of J. G. STOCKLEY, Allanburgh Mills, Thorold Post Offic, Upper Canada." Upper Canada would, in 1867, became Ontario. |
