Description: |
The magazine socket with its central spring loaded stud is designed to install or remove a number of nuts.
A late 1906 CYCLE AND AUTOMOBILE TRADE JOURNAL article about the HARBURG demountable rim notes the use of a "magazine brace wrench" in conjunction with removing and replacing the nuts that hold the tire and rim on to the wheel. The illustrations do not show sufficient detail of the wrench to be sure it conforms to this patent, McMurtry's parallel patent (no. 851,181), or some other design. |
