Description: |
The base for the biting jaw has a threaded ring engaging threads on the shank to provide size adjustment. A spring-loaded slider inside the movable jaw provides resistance to hold the jaw "open" or in engagement with the work piece. The construction which places the fulcrum point of the tongs within the movable base is stronger than any form of pivot bolt or pin. |
