Description:
The movable jaw has lips which slide over flanges on the shank. The adjusting nut also attaches the base of the movable jaw to the shank.

Found with different markings, including "CHICAGO MALLEABLE IRON CO." "STERLING," etc. Some were issued with farm implements.
