Description: |
This is a simple adjustable level mounted on a sheet metal backing. It is designed to be affixed to any piece of timber handy to the user, allowing a carpenter or mason to create a level of any length.
The primary patent improvement here is that the level vial is adjustable, which would make it much easier to adjust the level after the plate is screwed to the backing board.
Unfortunately, the piece as produced does not have this feature. It uses an elongated hole to allow the backing plate to be rotated. It will work, but is not nearly as fine an adjustment. |
