Description: |
| A self-adjusting spanner that appears to correspond to "SCHWARTZKOPFF'S ADJUSTING SPANNER" (patent GB-1863000945) has a sliding latch on the handle that can engage one of a series of notches on the extended "skirt" of the head. This patent apparently was subsequently abandoned.
