Description:
"This invention relates to spanners, and has for its object to provide for accommodating a multiple number of sizes of nuts in a manner which is compact, and at the same time allows of substantially resisting strain.."

Known examples include a couple of sizes fitting different ranges of nut sizes. Corresponding U.S. patent 1,343,882 includes assignment of half interest to Joseph Colesby.
