Description: |
|
This is a really strange design for a marking gage with a threaded bar.
The thumbscrew on the head holds a small piece of female-threaded stock,
so that when the screw is loosened the arm can slide freely, while when
it is snugged up the bar can be twisted to achieve fine movements.
