Description: |
This is a fairly interesting design that came very late in the game. It uses a metal 'trough' to hold the bar, which is graduated in reverse. This allows a direct reading of the marking distance from the back of the bar.
This tool was produced by General Hardware Manufacturing of New York, and offered under the Craftsman (Sears) and General names. |
