Description: |
|
This is a marking gage with several interesting features. It provides a
nice screw adjustment for the main points that is entirely enclosed within
the arm, as well as a secondary marking point in the head (similar to the
much earlier LeFrancois patent- 435,089).
Interestingly, this tool also provides a fence on the end of the arm like
many of the earlier butt gage designs, but the tool does not provide the
marking points needed for door hanging.
