Abstract:
This invention is designed to furnish a cheap, compact, and economical steam -generator, which can be easily cleaned and kept in order and the said invention consists in the combination of a reverberatory furnace, a steam-drum placed outside of the said furnace, a horizontal section, and flat metal disk-shaped or equivalent sectious, each connected to the said horizontal section and the steam-drum, said fiat- metal sections having their surfaces upon which the water rests inclined down toward the connection between them and the said horizontal section.
Claim:
The combination of the reverberatory furnace A, steam-drum F placed outside of the said furnace, horizontal pipe ID, and flat disk or equivalent-shaped sections E E, each connected to the said steam-drum F and horizontal pipe ID, and having all its surfaces, upon which the contained water rests and upon which sediment can form or deposit, inclined downwardly toward its connection with the horizontal pipe ID. |
