Claim:
One of the principal objectives of the present invention has been to provide a radial drill head in which various parts of the feed transmission control and tripping mechanisms are readily accessible for replacement and repairs. The invention contemplates an assembly of feed transmission gearing and gear shifting devices which is an integral unit bodily removable from the head and contained within a bracket or frame which is mounted in the head. |
