Description: |
Typical folding ruler with indexed extension and gage stops inletted into the body of the rule. Designed to perform the functions of rule, gage, and compass. Known examples are brass bound and resemble resemble a No. 62 type rule (brass bound, square joint) but based on the construction required it does not appear to be a modified rule from an existing rule but rather specifically manufactured. Marked only with the patent date.
