Claim:
In a multiple spindle drill-head, the combination of a bell-like casing, an arbor journaled therein, a closing plate at the mouth of said bell-like casing, a drill-spindle journaled in said plate, a drill-spindle journaled in said casing, and trains of gearing in different planes parallel to said plate between said arbor and said respective drill- spindles, said trains of gearing located in the hollow of said bell-like casing closed by said plate, said train of gearing between said arbor and second journaled drill-spindle comprising an elongated gear on said second named drill-spindle, and means for the adjustment axially of said second-named drill-spindle and elongated gear. |
