Stan Schulz Canadian patent 130,472 in ESPACENET
|
Description: |
The swinging jaw section allows the wrench to have ratchet-like action on hexagonal nut and grip hexagonal nuts on five sides.
Corresponding patents in other countries include Great Britain [GB-191019234] and U.S. [1,015,504]. The Austrian patent drawing [AT-62039] shows the hex nut and a "hang hole" in the handle. Some details of patentees, etc. taken from those patent entries.
Known examples have markings suggesting production in Germany and France. A November 16, 1911 AMERICAN MACHINIST item identifies a German manufacturer and U.S. import agent. |
