Description: |
| This patent focuses on the oil can which stores in and operates from a hollow handle of a combination axle nut wrench and "jack." (See Foote's design patent D27,812 for that tool.) The specifications include description of how the tool is used to remove and replace a vehicle wheel and lubricate the axle spindle.
One known example of this tool with a fragment of the original decal label is evidence who produced it. Forms without the oiler, and having other modifications were also produced.
