Description: |
The movable jaw has an internal clamping pawl, and a clamping set screw with sliding "T" handle. Tightening the clamping set screw secures the adjustment, and "raises" the jaw tip to more firmly grip the work piece.
A supplemental pipe gripping piece can clamp on to the movable jaw.
Produced by Smith & Egge Mfg. as the "GIANT."
A stop on the end of the handle bar prevents the jaw from sliding off when the clamping set screw is loosened. |
