Description: |
Abstract: "There is provided an improved wrench by which a threaded body is easily removed or screwed with a simple operation. The wrench of the present invention has a tightening means having plural curved members pivoted with each other, a lever, and a clamping member. An end of the tightening means is pivotally connected to a lever while the other end thereof is pivotally connected to the clamping member. The clamping means is removably engaged with the lever by means of plural notches to one of which a pin is engaged."
Some TURNY wrenches and oil filter wrenches produced in Japan bear this patent number and corresponding British patent number GB-1,391,409.
