Description: |
Corresponding U.S. patent 338,707 was granted March 30, 1886. The wrench has dual left- and -right hand threading to generate rapid adjustment, and includes a pop-out screwdriver in the outer jaw.
Modifications of this patent which dropped the screwdriver and added an adjustment locking ring to the lower jaw received British patent GB-188802927 (registered Feb. 27, 1888) and further evolution in U.S. patent no. 434,912 granted Aug. 26, 1890. |
